Blue Shield of California

Healthcare is a little outside of the apartment, but I am going to bring it up today because I am SUPER IRRITATED.

I have to go have a breast ultrasound because I can't have a mammogram this year. Why? Because it seems unkind to irradiate your unborn child. But apparently Blue Shield of California would prefer I go ahead and give new meaning to the term "pregnancy glow". They won't cover my breast ultrasound.

I used to have Kaiser, and I feel sure they would have covered an expense like this. Kaiser, I miss you. If you promise not to treat my pregnancy as a "pre-existing condition" I will return to you posthaste.
